On Ebay auctions,This simple checklist will help you keep on top of things. Have you found out everything you possibly could about your items? Try typing their names into a search engine – you might find out something you didn’t know. Being a seller is a lot of task, and sometimes you might feel like you’re not doing everything you should be.

It is not really difficult to make money on Ebay. If someone else is selling the same thing as you, then always try to provide more Information about it than they do. There’s usually little point in starting a fixed price auction for $80 when someone else is selling the item for $60. Do you monitor the competition? Always keep an eye on how many other items the same as or similar to yours are selling on ebay, and what prices they’re being offered.

Are you emailing your sellers? It’s worth sending a brief email when transactions go through: something like a simple “Thank you for buying my item, please let me know when you have sent the payment”. Follow this up with “Thanks for your payment, I have posted your [item name] today”. You will be surprised how many problems you will avoid just by communicating this way.

On your ebay store you would have to make your pictures ready. Have you got pictures of the items? It’s worth taking the time to photograph your items, especially if you have a digital camera. If you get serious about eBay but don’t have a camera, then you will probably want to invest in one at some point.

Do your item description pages have everything that buyers need to know? If youâ??re setting up to offer international delivery, and then it’s good to make a list of the charges to different counties and display it on each auction. If you have any special terms and conditions (for example, if you will give a refund on any item as long as it hasn’t been opened), then you should make sure these are displayed too.

Also, are you checking your emails? Remember that prospective buyers can send. You email about anything at any time, and not answering these emails will just make them go somewhere else instead of buying from you.

Have you been wrapping your items correctly? Your wrapping should be Professional for the best impression: use appropriately sized envelopes or parcels, wrap the item in bubble wrap to stop it from getting damaged, and print labels instead of hand-writing addresses. Oh, and always use first class post – don’t be cheap.

Do you follow up? It is worth sending out an email a few days after you post an Item, saying “Is everything alright with your purchase? I hope you received it and it was as you expected.” This might sound like giving the customer an

Opportunity to complain, but you should be trying to help your customers, not take their money and run.

Being a really good eBay seller, more than anything else, is about providing legitimately good and honest customer service. That’s the only perfect way to Protect your reputation. Tips on ebay for dummies will be of help for beginners.

How To Make Money On Ebay

Can you make money on Ebay?

This is a question many people have asked at some point. A lot of people dream about quitting their job to work from home on Ebay. There is a slight difficulty with this way of thinking: everyone else has the same idea.

In reality there are very few sellers who have actually made a success of the Ebay home business plan. With this in mind is an Ebay business really a solution for everyone?

Well on one hand there is the fact that there is a very large amount of money passing through the famous auction site every single day. Why shouldn’t some of it be yours? But on the other hand, Ebay is littered with failed business start ups, people who have tried (and failed) to make money on ebay.

But there is some good news. After all, the purpose of this article is not to put you off selling on the auction site. There are just a few things you need to know if you are serious about selling on Ebay without becoming a failed start-up like the others, who perhaps would have benefited from reading this article.

There are a few main points to think about. Number 1 is to always do your research. Make sure you know about what you are selling. Check out the competition. A good tip is to check the feedback of sellers who are selling the same product as you. From this you can work out how much money they are making by working out how much is costs them to buy the stock, how much in listing fees they are paying, what they sell the item for etc.

How many competitors are there? Too many? Too much competition will mean selling prices will be cut in order to grab customers from another store. Ask yourself whether it is worth you starting up your ebay business with this in mind.

Can you get the stock? After all this is the main thing. If you don’t have a quality product that buyers actually want then you are wasting your time. With all the competition on ebay offering such a diverse variety of products, you have to make sure that yours is the best, most sought after item in the listings.

Can you get the stock at a reasonable price? Will you make enough of a profit buying at your wholesalers prices? You would have to sell at quite a low price to gain custom with so many other business selling the same thing you are. Perhaps you need to shop around for the lowest wholesale price possible?

Remembering these points may help you when starting your auction site business. Fast success won’t happen overnight. But pay attention, put the effort in, and after a while you might just find you have your own successful ebay business.

Find out how you can make money on eBay.

Bob Hamilton is an entrepreneur, author, writer, business consultant and trainer.

E-Bay has become a household name in the last decade. It has been the main force of the shop from home lifestyle. It’s hard to be too critical as people can now enjoy online browsing and shopping at the click of their mouse. It allows for easy buying but it also allows for easy selling. People are making full time incomes and some have set up businesses around selling through e-bay

Here are 4 ways to help you to make money from e-bay:

1: Work Together

Teamwork is one way to profit from E-bay. The power of synergy can be used when 2 or more brains combine to work toward a common goal. At first the team may only be researching deals on the E-Bay sites. It may take time but if there is a joint effort, then it will be easier to find good deals and buying and selling at a profit will become a formality. The people that work full time selling on e-bay rarely work alone. It is always good to have a second opinion, especially on big money choices.

2: Do your Homework

Different E-Bay sites should be analyzed to find differences in the prices of popular goods. For example, there’s an E-Bay Canada and an E-Bay Australia, and the difference in prices between these are often different on some items. It’s a very simple way to make some savings on E-Bay. Why pay the high price if there’s a lower price around the corner. Since it’s all online, there is no difference in buying from Canada or buying from Australia. That’s the beauty of the web. It is also wise to put your products for sale on the more highly priced e-bay sites, because you will get the best prices there.

3: Collect Items on your Travels

Making a space in the house for items that are picked up on travels, or low price items just happened to have come across. If a person opens an E-Bay account he/she will be able to put up almost any item for sale. If the items are of good quality, there’s sure to be a market. Not only can you sell things from exotic far away countries, but you could simply ask your neighbors if they have any old things they would like to throw away. Then you could have an ebay section dedicated to antiques and just charge what you want. There is a demand for all sorts because it’s a world audience. Don’t underestimate that.

4: Do your research

Research and find out what the hot products are, and what people are looking for. It’s the safest way to ensure a market for products, and it is better to have a plan of action, backed up with research. Again it’s worth finding where things are selling cheap and sell them on where they are selling at a high price.

No matter what you are interested in, there’s a market for it, and any items you think you could sell, you probably can. E-bay can be tapped as a real income source if you spend a little time to figure t out.

How to Make Money on Ebay While You Travel

Have you ever thought about making a steady online income… while traveling? Ebay provides a fantastic platform for doing this and it’s not very difficult or time consuming. You can travel overseas for a LONG time by holding just a few online auctions per week if you set things up properly.

Most people dismiss Ebay as a viable travel business because they think you’ve got to have a physical inventory present… and while traveling, that would clearly be limited by the size of your luggage.

There’s good news and more good news. The first piece of good news is that you definitely DON’T need to have a physical item or inventory to sell. You can easily sell a digitally delivered product or inexpensively hire a fulfillment house to ship your stuff for you. Here’s the ‘more’ good news: because most people dismiss Ebay for making a travel income the market is left wide open for this type of marketing!

The other big reason entrepreneurs dismiss Ebay is because they think it’s for selling old junk lying around the house. They take a ‘garage sale’ mentality about Ebay (sell your extra stuff lying around the house). This is great for some people, but wrong for business!

So, Here is your basic model for traveling and making money with online auctions:

1)    Find a product to sell. This is easy. You can sell a digital E-book if you don’t want to carry an inventory, or you can resell items from wholesalers at a markup. Simply get on the lists of a few dozen wholesalers and start watching their wholesale product listings.

2)    Based on those products, narrow it down to what people WANT.
This is the biggest pitfall would-be auction sellers make… They sell a product they think people need instead of what people actually BUY. You’ve got to find where the highway traffic is flowing and stand in front of it with a big money net.

3)    Study Your Competition. You should steal what other competitors are doing that is working! Watch for the sellers who consistently sell products in the market you’ve chosen, and see what they are doing. They’re on Ebay because what they’re doing is working! By the way, don’t get scared off by competition. Competition means there’s a market of buyers!

4)    Get your feet wet. Jump in there and make a listing! Start the bidding price low so that people get emotionally invested in your product. Show lots of pictures. Consider utilizing an auction listing template to make things look nice… but remember, it’s the STORY that people get drawn into more than a pretty website, so make them feel like they already own the product and show them the benefits of owning your product, not the features.

5)    Scale Bigger.
After you’ve experienced some success with a few auctions, you can now make more sales and bigger sales.

So how do you travel and sell on ebay? Easy. There are internet café’s all over the world that you can login to for as little as $0.10 cents per hour! Most will be around $1-$2 dollars per hour, and you’ll get a surprisingly high-tech computer to access the web with.

You can modify your listings from abroad and have your fulfillment house (or your little brother!) handle shipments. If you like, you can even have a customer service center answering buyer questions.

It won’t have escaped your attention that eBay is the ultimate location to watch money change hands every minute. A place where thousands of Traders frantically compete for Bargain Hunter’s Cash.

The Result? Fierce competition, plus huge demand for products and services capable of giving one eBay Trader the ‘edge’ over another.

Back in the American Gold Rush, Pick & Shovel Merchants made fabulous profits, while most Prospectors just got back-ache, moonshine poisoning and about enough gold to replace a lost tooth filling. Well, now there’s a chance for you to become a ‘Pick & Shovel Affiliate’ for the eBay Gold Rush.

Consider the first rule of Wealth Building: Find a huge, hungry crowd, then feed it. Might those thousands of eBay Traders qualify? Do you imagine they would respond well to a proposition which could substantially increase their earnings?

Here’s the thing. Your long term affiliate success is more likely in a big, active marketplace (like eBay) than in some tiny niche. In addition, entrepreneurs (like eBay Traders) are less resistant to buying because, where it suits, they can justify their purchase as an ‘investment’.

But choosing to promote ‘any old offer’ likely to appeal to eBay Traders simply won’t do. You must choose very carefully. Top ‘Two-Tier’ Affiliate Programs place you in a great position to leverage your returns.

Why? Because all worthwhile Affiliate Programs have key features, e.g.

Strong Brand
No Quibble, Money Back Guarantee
Good Commission
Residual Sales Potential
Quality Promotional Material

However, the real clincher’s the presence of a ‘Two-Tier’ Reward Structure.

Most affiliate programs only allow you to earn commission when someone clicks your affiliate link, then buys.

However, with Two-Tier Programs, here’s what happens if someone who clicks your affiliate link is ‘just browsing’, but at the same time ‘receptive’ to money making opportunities. (Note, this could include nosey competitors checking up on your activities).

He (or she) clicks your affiliate link to learn what’s on offer. If a sale results, great! You earn a first-tier commission. But whether or not that happens, something useful occurs. When using your link to visit the Merchant’s Website, a cookie is typically deposited on the visitor’s PC (often that cookie remains active for months).

Now, even if it does not enter the mind of the person who clicked your link, to join the Merchant’s Affiliate Program there and then, it doesn’t matter.

Let’s say they return to the Merchant’s Website ‘weeks’ later. At that point, they decide to join the program.

Because the cookie identifies you to the Merchant as the original referrer, you stand to earn ‘second-tier’ commissions on every sale the new affiliate generates. Dependent on the Terms of the Program, you could earn effortless commissions for years to come.

(By the way, the new affiliate who joined the program sometime after clicking your link, doesn’t loose part of his / her commission as a result of your involvement. He – or she – becomes a promoter of the Merchant’s Program on exactly the same terms as you, and is eligible to earn first and second-tier commission – just like you).

OK, your second-tier commission might only be (say) 10% but, by selecting the ‘right’ Two-Tier Program, that 10% can amount to $20 or $30 per sale (more in some cases).

Just consider what might happen if some of those who discover, then join, the affiliate program via your link, are ezine publishers, or owners of high-traffic blogs / websites? If they promote the Merchant’s Offer successfully, the number of second-tier commissions you stand to receive could be enormous!

Important: Don’t make the mistake of confusing this with MLM or Pyramid Selling. Likewise, don’t sit back waiting for others to generate ‘second-tier’ commissions for you, while you do nothing to earn first-tier ones. Simply look on second-tier commissions as a welcome bonus.

Let’s Review.

Find a big active marketplace (eBay’s Ideal). Join some top Two-Tier Affiliate Programs. Actively promote for normal ‘first-tier’ commissions. But standby for a windfall on the second-tier, every time someone with serious ‘web-traffic influence’, joins the same program through your link, then promotes the Merchant’s Offer successfully.

‘Strong’ Two-Tier Affiliate Offers likely to interest eBay Traders take sometime to track down. I’ve saved you the trouble by locating what I consider are two of the very best ones at this point in time. You’ll find details when you click the link that appears in my Bio / Resource Box below this article. I’ve also discovered a cracking Special Report (with Resale Rights!). I intend to release 50 Free Copies. One can be yours just for sharing your opinion on this Article & Two Tier Affiliate Programs. But don’t delay! I’m considering a domain name change. If I go ahead, my website link (see below) will stop working, and you’ll miss out!

To Your Success!
